– Three dinghies carrying illegal migrants attempting to cross into Greek island of Kos through Turkey's Aegean resort town of Bodrum has barely escaped capsizing 100 meters off Aegean coasts.

Turkish coast guard teams saved 80 migrants of Syrian origin. Meanwhile, five other dinghies carrying Pakistani and Apghan illegal migrants having attempted to scull towards Greece have also barely escaped drowning.

Illegal migrants have flocked to Bitez, Akyarlar and Turgutreis neighbourhoods in Bodrum, after the five-day-long hurricane left the Aegean. However, this time the cheapjack dinghies' engines have broken down or nearly capsized.

"We have paid 5,000 dolars to these motor boats, but they were clearly cheap and of poor quality. We were fooled" said one of the migrants, 45-year-old doctor from Aleppo, named Rescani.

One of the residents, captain Metin Şahin watched the concerning incidents and told "You can buy them for 2,000 liras in the market. This size of boats can't carry this many people, they are too week these engines illegal migrants set in their boats. These smugglers send people to death in cold blood. With these boats, people can't even advance 500 meters. They start taking on water in short time, and blow out after a minor touch".

Reporters from the U.K., Germany, Danemark and Saudi Arabia has also monitored these moments, along with reporters from Turkey.

In recent years, one of the most favored routes to the EU has been Turkey's Aegean region, particularly Bodrum, for illegal migrants attempting to cross into Europe.
